OUR MISSION
7Mile Design first opened its doors back in 2015 as a sister design store of Surfside Casual. Robert Himmelstein and his father sought to cater to the needs of upscale and modern design tastes — home owners all the way from Atlantic to Cape May County. This would allow clients to have a hands on design experience with face to face interaction.

BOBBIE GARVEY
General Manager
Bobbie was born and raised in NJ. She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the furniture business as she and her husband Ron owned and operated two furniture stores of their own very similar to Surfside Casual. Both are now proud members of the Surfside/ 7Mile Design furniture family. Bobbie’s speciality is “special order” so the customer can design and create it the way they want it. She loves the Amish products and loves helping our customers create their visions of the “perfect” bedroom or dining room.
RON GARVEY
Design Consultant/Sales
Ron, because he owned and operated his own furniture stores has a great deal of experience in knowing what quality furniture is and how it is made. This knowledge transferred to our customers here at 7Mile Design gives them the confidence in the products they are buying. Ron is especially fond of selling the solid wood Amish products. He knows the customers are getting beautiful quality pieces that will last for many years.

Greg has worked in the furniture industry for ten years assisting many customers in designing their homes. He enjoys the customization and the quality of furniture here at 7Mile Design. Greg also enjoys spending time with his 17-year-old daughter, Sophia.

Lead Designer
Ed Valentino is from Somers Point, New Jersey. He has been helping clients design their interiors first at Surfside Casual and now at 7Mile Design for the last 19 years. He says his goal has always been to help create casual, elegant, livable, spaces using his “knack for color and fabric combinations.”
